Benz has spent considerable time focused on community outreach, connecting county health departments, faith-based organizations, community groups and local nonprofits. Through her government programs work, she’s partnered with state legislators, the governor’s office and state administrative agencies to push policy changes and legislation that’s helped shape the direction of government health care programs for Wisconsin health care consumers.
Her current role as vice president of government programs for Network Health positions her to lead the company’s product development for Medicare, the Health Insurance Marketplace and the Wisconsin Employer Group Health Plan, in addition to directing the company’s government relations initiatives.
